hmmmmmmmmmm........ sounds like the Mercola product is NOT working :(

Are you giving the recommended dose ...or did you introduce it at a lesser amount and are slowly increasing it?

If you started at the full recommended dose..... then try continuing for a few more days and if still not positive result... then it is not working :(
In which case, you can try yet another probiotic or talk to the vet about doing a course of Tyan (Tylosin Tartrate) antibiotics).

BUT.................. before going the Tylan route to treat SID via EPI..... i have a question........... have they done the ACTH testing on him and figured out the right dosage of Cushing meds that he needs to be on? Cause this soft poo issue could also be from Cushings and not EPI related..... but rather from not being being on the proper meds or proper dose of meds for Cushings.... ........................................

It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........

Never. Only started the panacreved powder and B12 saying it was EPI. She did think Cushing's or EPI and the tests she said confirmed EPI.

Once on the enzyme the stool was better

Odessa, I have a question ,,, I am wondering if the Hemp Seed oil has too much omegas for Piper. Can this be affecting her stool?

Currently she is taking Manitoba Hemp Seed Oil. However I am looking into Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet Liquid and Zesty Paws Pure Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil. Below are the labels for each. Use 1 tsp only per day.

Hemp seed oil: (currently using)

Considering:

Nordic Naturals Omega 3:

Zesty Paws Salmon Oil:

Any suggestions or input on this?

Yes that is the serving the nutritionist gave me. Let me include the actual document from him. After the fact we did remove the oatmeal and replaced that with 1/2 cup of white rice. Note that the recipe is one days worth split into two.

ALso, if possible can the Title be changed from Bad Breath to something more appropriate? Only if possible.
