ahhh.... she is indeed a cutie.

ANd Jeremy is correct.... SLippery Elm, side from having prebiotic properties .... is also a mucilage... which may lessen the efficacy of some medications.... but it is very minute.

What i did with my dogs..... was give it with most meds (that didn't have to be very measured) but when i did give a med for one of my dogs with Cushings that had to be very measured(he had to take Lysodren 3 times a week).... on those days i did not give him SLippery ELm with his meds but rather did what Jeremy suggested... i gave it 2 hours away from the Lysodren med.

You can use this as a guideline, or better yet, just ask your vet what his thoughts are on it with the meds you have to give Lucy, like the Galliprant.. ask if it needs to be a closely measured drug.
Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........
