Hi Chance.

Thank you for sharing the details on what worked with the probiotic situation. I started cutting the proviable in half because it seemed to worsen Juniper's symptoms. I've even contemplated stopping the probiotic completely since it loosens her stool. I hope once she starts Tylan will notice more improvements.

Thanks!

Typically we suggest when starting with a probiotic... to start with less than 1/2 the recommended dose and work your way up to a full dose over the course of a week or two..

Sometimes it is just too much all at once for a dog to start with, hence why Epi4Dogs recommends this probiotic technique.

But also know that not all probiotics agree with all dogs. Sometimes you have to try a bunch of different brands before you find one that actually helps... and at other times... it just doesn't work.... but... it is always worth trying
Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........
