UK wet food option

I like to feed wet food to my normal dogs, and found the trays made them constipated. I changed to Butchers which have recently introduced a multitude of options including grain free.
Most are chickenbased, but there is a beef, and a green tripe one. They are much cheaper, despite having UK meat, no derivatives, a stated liver or kidney content. Very simple, and availble in the Co-op, pets at home and online. There is quite a bit of jelly , unlike well known expensive trays, but mine love it, dont drink much water, don’t put on weight, and do perfect poops. No preservatives like in kibble.
Obviously the tripe is whiffy, but heaven to dogs. I’ve used it for six weeks, and they love it, and I’m sure their skin is more supple because they are getting more water than they could bother to drink before (one of them has her bottom jaw sticking out which makes lapping water very tricky).
I might add that they are £11.50 for 18 cans of 400gms. Largest dogs may need 3 cans a day.
When I get round to it I will contact them to mention epi to them, them they can be aware of it if anyone else asks.
The other plus is that cans are recyclable, unlike certain plastic or aluminium foil trays.

what a great option. Thanks Patsy for sharing.... and BTW... that "gel" in the food = meat jelly.... if it is what i suspect it is loaded with not only "water content" but highly nutritious nutrients too :)
