Good day to all in this forum. This is Samir and Papia and our loving pet Pinglu.

Our story and relationship with epi4dogs.com as ..................................

In January, 2010, somebody left a 25 day old female pup in front of our apartment complex. She was in a distressed condition, so being dog lovers, my wife Papia and I simply couldn't neglect her and came forward to save her life.

We have nourished her to the best of our capacity and tried to accommodate her in the 10,000 square ft garage space of the complex. She was growing up well there for one month. But a lot of politics started in our society because of this and the situation soon worsened. In my absence some people threw her into a drain and started torturing her with a big stick and in other cruel ways. One Sunday she was forced to stay out for a full day and I couldn't find her. I thought she had been left far away somewhere, or even killed.

Late at night when Papia and I came back home, we found the pup in a very stressed condition, shivering in front of my flat door. We took her in and started keeping her with us and with time, she became an integral part of our family as a daughter. We named her Pinglu.

Approx 2 years back, she was observed symptoms of EPI and SID (SIBO ) . We had done all possible tests and treatments available in India. But everything was found ok in tests. We have no facility of doing test of cTLI. With time her body weight started deteriorating. We desparately started seeking help from our friendly network, outside of India and at the same time was giving her all possible support of medicines and diet that we could.
She was first detected symptoms of EPI and SID (SIBO ) by Monika Stojko of Animal SOS Sri Lanka in June, 2016 at her age of 6.5 years and advised us the possible treatment and tests, by going in details of all tests we had done in India and Pinglu’s case history. But those were not available in India.
Time was passing by and we were helpless, since we could not support Pinglu a full treatment. At this critical time, we have got a great friend Olesia and her Epi4dogs.com with a cheerful team . They all came as a god gift to us to save Pinglu. By the continuous advice and support of Olesia, Pratima the wonderful ladies and members of this wonderful organization, we won the race. And she started gaining weight and shown improvement from December 2016 . Before EPI, her weight was 23 kg and it dropped down to 13kg. Now she is 16.5 kg and cheerful. She is approx 8.5 years now . Her DOB is 12.1.2010. We are in coordination with all the members of epi4dogs.com for time to time help and advices. We sincerely thanks to Olesia, Patsy, Jean, Dar, Ann, Judith, Prathima, Elisabeth, Doc’s mom, Riley’s mom, Jill , Devika and a lot of friends of epi4dogs.com

After her recovery from EPI , we are noticing that, she need Tylene oral and B-12 injection for 2-3 months in a year along with her well management of food, enzyme, B-12 .
