I messed with my account, don't remember my password, and just wanted to make sure I can still post.
Tucker was a shepherd mix--- TLI 1.3, Folate 9.7, Cobalamin 666, Lipase 38. Diane's Enzymes 4 t/day, B12 1 capsule/day, and Tylan 1/16 teaspoon/day. Taste of the Wild High Prairie, 4 c/day. 60 to 85 pounds! Tucker succumbed to hemangiosarcoma Nov. 2023. I will always, always miss my sweet big boy.

Now there's Nina. 5 year old GSD. TLI 1.0 B12 323. We are still tweaking her routine, and getting lots of help from the forum. She is klutzy and goofy, and we love her dearly, too.

I asked an important question on page 2, but I think people will only see the last, newest one.

H E L P !!!! After months of not doing this, Tucker is once again EATING POO, and I can't take it. I've seen him eat it a few times this week, and he is very sneaky about it. This means I have to stay outside & clean up everything immediately, every time I take all of my dogs out, instead of scouring the yard a few times a day when I have time. I can't imagine why this is happening...He takes Wonderlab B12 2X/day. Should I increase the amount? Thanks so much--Pam

Yes, people have used the Schebo test, usually as a mid step to eventually getting the Tli test. The Schebo test is an indicator but not definite like the Tli.

Jill, no undigested food, but I did in the last few weeks realize that I was giving 2 B12 capsules, two times a day, and I cut back. Maybe he was in need of that mega dose. I believe I've read that he will just pee out the excess if he doesn't need it? Also, I hope to hear from someone who has used the test, since the TLi is out of reach for now. Thank you!---Pam

Yes, excess B12 is excreted in the urine.

What is going on with Tucker's liver?

Jill, I don't think there's anything wrong with his liver, but the vet said the pills couldn't hurt him. His poo is great, but I've proven to myself it's because of the food.---Pam
